AP Party Citizen Action Program (CAP) 28
US Congress Recall Process and 2012
The first CAP to be considered for a 2011/2012 political activity within the USD Chapters has been identified. It will result in the research, documenting, and publishing on the Party website among other places, the Congressional Recall Election Procedures for each state in the nation! That is, each state’s official Recall Election procedures against their respective members of the US House and Senate.
Such a Recall process is now underway in Oregon’s First US District to fill David Wu’s US House of Representatives seat since his resignation.
Normally the requirements consist of how many signatures, from whom, and by what date, but the devil is in the details and I am sure the members of Congress have made it is tedious as they can! Frankly, it will be harder in some states than others, but it will be documented for the public’s review and common perspective. I will be documenting the first of these state level Recall requirements myself starting in August.
The CAP Project Objective(s)
The primary objective of CAP #28 is for the AP Party to help the Americans in each state to fully understand how to Recall their national politicians that are not working effectively for their state and/or for the nation. Key factors such as what reasons justify a Recall by the voters and how long does the process take start to the actual Recall election. The AP Party volunteers would help facilitate such civil action for the state if the voters were pushing for it.
Further, the AP Party could then run one of our own Independent candidates for the Congressional office in question.
That is it plain and simple. Inform the Electorate of their Rights and Authority over our elected officials. And be prepared to actively support such citizen-based civil action.
Laying the People’s Groundwork
Recall 67 in 2012 – A Straight-forward Civil Revolt
Now for a proper example of what an informed, totally disgusted, and properly facilitated Electorate in each state has within their power to accomplish. This is a viable, realistic example of exercising citizen, political Control over the US Congress for a change – a Constitution-based electoral warning. And when We do it, They will not like it! Fantastic…
Consider for a moment that there are 67 of the 100, US Senators that are not up for re-election in 2012. That is at least one (1) Senator from every state. In view of the very low public approval rating (14% approval vs. an 82% disapproval rating as of 8-6-11) of the entire Congress and the fact that the voters in each state will know the detailed procedure to Recall their members of Congress – such a Recall against those 67 Senators could be conducted in 2012. What a concept!
Such a well-timed Recall action would force those 67 Senators to run for re-election next year at the November 2012 National Election. Thus, allowing the voters to potentially replace the entire 535 members of Congress at one time. We the People would rise up and change the world again in a deliberate, collective, Democratic action.
That would not just be public vengeance – it would be a national reckoning. Further, the world will not end as those 67 terrified Senators and their party’s managers will certainly warn us it would!
We the People have the Constitutional Right and Power to do such things and We do not need to be worried about deliberately taking such prudent, practical, and bold civil action. Can you just imagine the panic in DC should such a historic recall be initiated? Just another reason why the AP Party’s activities will be making the evening news on the campaign more fun to watch next year. Something to think about!

I will close with these comments on such a Recall as written on the morning of Monday August 1, 2011 and first posted on August 2.
This is not to say that the AP Party will conduct a Recall Drive against their current member(s) of Congress, however the people in each state will be fully aware of what it would take if and when they so decided.
And the way Congress is continually failing us it would be only fitting to throw them all out in 2012 – all 535 of them. What a wonderful thought!
Of course, now We also had to endure the Debt Ceiling Limit Artificial Crisis. And, with NO tax break eliminations on the wealthiest because their lobbyists have the Republican Party and some Democrats as well, in their pocket.
To me it is oddly fitting that the loud, nationally embarrassing Senate vote that I consider to mark the final failure and end of the 2-party American political system, is the same day that the new Independent American Peasant Party is quietly starting to make itself known to the public, Press, and the political world.
Truly, everything in its own time and it is time that American Citizens had our own political party. A Party dedicated to their Common Good.
Thus, upgrade the political forecast on the AP Party conducting a “Recall 67 in 2012” from possible to probable!

Below I have copied from the US Senate website the Class 1 and Class 2 charts detailing the 67 Senators that are not up for re-election in 2012.
That is unless maybe the People decide to conduct a historic and decisive congressional Recall next year! Time will tell.
